Yesterday we set up shop in Longs SC. Our intention was to stay 2 nights here and then pack up and head to the beach. Willow Tree is about 16 miles from the beach so Gail decided we should take a mini road trip into Myrtle Beach to check out our next stop.

Yesterday, Gail and I went on an adventure to pick some food stuffs and goodies from the Food Lion. Well after getting directions and then driving 45 minutes in the wrong direction we turned around and returned to find a store in a town about 15 minutes away and on another road. As we turned onto the highway today, making a left, 1 mile down the road, there it was. A big new Food Lion store. I guess the Lady I got directions from must have been having a good laugh on me. Well as Gail looked at me and called me an idiot, we headed down the road.

As we got closer to North Myrtle Beach (10 minutes) there were stores everywhere. Our destination was Walmart to buy some items we forgot to pack. Gail was in her glory as we passed seafood place after seafood place. I figure we will hit each one at least once during our quest. Now Walmart. Now there is a story to be told here. Super Walmart has something for everyone. This store went over the top. There it was in all it's glory. A true masterpiece for every true BBQ Master. There, on the shelf was a full Pigs Head. Yes, just the head!  I had to take the Blackberry out and snap a picture. What can I say, I really did want to buy it and get some greens and cook that bad boy like a true Redneck.

Let me get back on subject now. we headed to our next location, Ocean Lakes Resort. We got a temporary pass and drove around looking for our site. Looking over at Gail I could tell she was not happy with our choice. After driving around for ten minutes we exited the complex, not a word was said. 3 miles down the road Gail broke the ice. She informed me she was not happy with Ocean Lakes, and would be very happy to stay a month or so at Willow Tree. Back to Willow Tree we headed Gail looking for stores to shop in and me trying to figure how much money I was going to loose.

We headed directly to the office upon our arrival. With a move to another site tomorrow, we are here until January 15th. Our change of plans made Gail very happy and I guess that means I'm happy also. Those of you that know us well probably find this change no big surprise.

Well, that's the report for today. The next few days I will snap some pictures and post. All is well here and we hope all is well with everyone.

Driving forty five minutes in the wrong direction just for a grocery store sounds so much like my family haha!
