Back in Swakopmund in hopes of finally selling the vehicle (fingers crossed).

In the month leading up to returning to Africa I spent countless hours contemplating new gear that I believed could make or break my return. In the last few days, after organizing my things to return to public transportation, I have realized a few things. My new backpack that I over analyzed the purchase of, not used one single time for backcountry use. The rain jacked I worried about making the perfect selection of? I wore it one time at Victoria Falls. The multi fuel backpacking stove has not been taken out of the original package.

There is one purchase I made, that has paid off more than I ever expected. I bought some new tent stakes made from titanium that are worth every cent I paid.

In the end, this travel stuff isn't that complicated or difficult. You really don't need much, just the desire to see new things.

Just catching up on your posts. Epic adventure and awesome photos. Good luck adjusting to the real world when you return, or do you have other plans?

I plan on doing everything I can to avoid the "real world". I just have to somehow get creative.
