In trying to sprint to Austria, I only made it to Verona from Nice and had to get a room after the train broke down for an hour, apparently, I had no idea what they were saying happened . I wish I could have explored more but there were no hostels and it was very expensive for a hotel. Who knew there was an opera season?

I ate fettuccini here, it was simple and the best food I'd had in weeks.

The train ride from Verona to Austria the next morning went through some of the most amazing landscapes I have ever seen. Definitely one of the highlights so far.
