Where I stayed
Riverglades Tourist Park, Tumut

Not really that much to tell here… we left the highway at Gundagai and headed to the township of Tumut. Such a beautiful picturesque drive once again.  We stayed at the Riverglades Tourist Park in Tumut and scored a perfect riverfront site where we could hear the fast moving waters all night! We spent many an hour just sitting by the water's edge watching and enjoying the peace and beauty. We had a family of ducks visit daily, a couple of very friendly possums, abundant birdlife and a daily visit from some horses who come to the other side of the river to drink daily. Quite the sight to see.  This really is a pretty, quiet little town.  We spent three lovely relaxing days here.

Billy chased some old mates that he had heard had moved down this way many years ago.  Michael & Margaret have been here for many years now and are an awesome couple that were so welcoming.  It felt like it had only been yesterday when we had seen them last when in actual fact it was about 9 years! They kindly had us over to their place for dinner and took us into Wagga for the day on Thursday.  So kind and very hospitable and we had a really great time catching up and hanging out.  A lovely time to regenerate and enjoy the incredible marvels of nature.
