Well we have left all the party frivolities behind and are back on the road again!  Headed up to the beautiful Burleigh Heads to hang out with the girls for a couple of days.  The weather was perfect and we managed to do quite a bit of walking along the beautiful esplanade there up to Miami and back. That certainly wont hurt the waistlines!  Had some great times with the girls and their boys!

Then off to Brisbane and spent some more time with friends we met travelling our first time around Aus at Redland Bay.  Great people that we hope to catch up with and do some more travelling with real soon!

Then on to Brighton to hang out with Kristy & Andy for a couple of days.  We had a great time there and managed to see a brilliant art exhibition that I can recommend to anyone who may be in Brisbane... It is Ron Mueck - an Australian born, London based sculptor.  The exhibition is at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane until 1st August and if you are there you should take a look.  It is awesome.

It's always great to catch up with family and our time on the Goldy and in Brisbane was quite precious.

Now we plan to head out western Queensland and try and do some station stays... my sister Michelle & Ian will be travelling with us for a while so that will be great.  Will keep you posted!

So pleased you mentioned the Art Exhibition - I will be in Brisbane this comming week and so far you are the third person who has said it is a 'must see' so it will now definitely be on the list of to do's.
Kristy has not changed a bit, it must be 10 years since I last saw her.

Hey Kath and Bill, happy travels north. Thanks for the tip about the art exhibition in Brisvegas. I will definitely go and see that.
