We got away about 9:00 this morning. A little bit overcast but thankfully not raining.  We headed south and tried to stay on the coast as much as possible.  Drove through Gerringong which is quite a quaint little town, to Shoalhaven Heads and through to Nowra.  We stopped here to buy supplies and then headed off again.  Didn't particularly like Nowra – way too busy!  Turned off at Sussex Inlet in the hope of a quiet site on the water for a couple of days but would you believe that the caravan parks there were all full of permanents!  So back out to the highway we came and headed south wondering where we would end up.  We decided to stop at Ulladualla as we were both over driving.  Found a nice park on the headland with minimal ocean views and marathon mountain climb to get down to the water.  Quite lovely just the same.  We set up camp and had some lunch, did some very necessary washing, then went on an investigatory walk around the headland through bush and down mountains and down to the beach.  Took us a couple of hours and it was great. Back home for beer-o-clock.  Great day.

Next day we jumped in the car to have a look around.   Headed a bit north to Mollymook  - what an awesome little town.  Spectacular beach, quaint village type feel about it – beautiful homes… magic! It is certainly on my list of places to recommend! Loved it here.  Then we headed through town south to Burrill Lake and that’s a pretty little spot, then we found Dolphin Point which was an awesome beachfront place, beautifully manicured and maintained – very small but magic as well.  Geeze there are some beautiful towns on our coastline. Very beautiful! Checked out Ulladulla Headland on our return and their lighthouse.  Such high rocky cliffs around here!  Scary stuff! Back to van as my neck is giving me hell and made an appointment to see a Chiro/Osteopath.  Will go later this arvo.  Hope it helps.  Meanwhile back to the van to chill and read my last episode in the Twighlight series of books, Breaking Dawn & catch up on the diary.  Loving it!

PS: If you are down this way and need some Chiro/Osteo help, you have to go and see Michael Lizak from Ulladulla Chiropractic and Osteopathic Centre - Awesome.  I feel good again Yay!
