Ok...so I thought yesterday would be my last entry for this trip, but enough happened from 6 am-1:30 pm when I took off that I thought I would write and share....

Had to get one last morning routine in before I could say good bye to this place that I called home for 8 days....got up, went to the coffee shop and said good bye to Lara, and then headed for the beach.  Unreal morning....see the photos below.  Got my last deep breaths in and even saw the Ocean Yoga class....Luis was teaching it.  Looked awesome.  Him and the three ladies.  Kind of hilarious and I could not take a photo....but I should have.

On to breakfast....where I chatted with the hostess, Alina for a minute.  Her English was spectacular.  Duh...she lived in the States for 12 years, but is from Costa Rica.  So she learned that I was leaving CR and she said..."Pura Vida!"

I looked at her and I said...."I think I know what that means, but can you share?"

She was shocked.  Took this piece of paper and wrote it down for me.  See photo.  There you have it....sums up my experience and my future:  Good things.  Good Life.  Good vibrations!  NEVER NEGATIVE!  Amen!!  So....Pura Vida!

On the airport I went...three hours early.  Oye.  BUT how cool is this....I see this puppy and of course I am immediately drawn to him.  Junior is his name and it is his lucky day!  He is headed to the States to a rescue to be adopted.  I met these two women-Mickey and Sally Ann.  They live in Costa Rica and are on the board to help dogs and are part of this organization called:  CARE--Coco Animal Rescue and Education.  In the past 18 months they have spayed and neutered over 800 dogs!  I shared my concerns as I saw these dogs all week!  I donated $20 and this will spay or neuter 2 dogs.  Pretty cool.  AND...I already received a nice note from them:

Dear Jamie,
Thanks for noticing rescued puppy JR at the Liberia Airport and taking the time to chat with CARE Board Member Mickey Neill about our organization and for your generous $20 donation.
The CARE Board of Directors (copied on this email) welcome you to the CARE Family. Your support of the animals is greatly appreciated. Your membership is effective Jan. 1 - Dec. 31, 2011.
Find us on Facebook at COCO CARE and friend us there as well if you want.

--
Did you know that a $10 donation can spay/neuter an animal or can feed a starving animal for 2 weeks or can provide emergency medical care to a homeless animal.
By the way...Junior the puppy was flying back with Mickey's son and was very comfortable on a flight to Houston and then to San Fran!

So....that is all I got for now.  Just had to share as the good life continued through the day today....now back home in Arlington....

Cheers.
