After the most uncomfortable bus trip ever, we arrived at Puerto Escondido. Found ourselves some nice cabaņas to stay at, which have great views, are cheap and so close to the beach. Perfect! Puerto is a laid back town; all that the people do here is surf, surfed or will eventually surf. Playa Zicatela is the surfer's beach; don't even think about going swimming here, pro surfers die on these waters! The waves are ranked third biggest in the world! Isn't that amazing! Well unfortunately for anyone who wanted to surf those waves or watch as we did, they were no where to be found! Apparently, they are coming back the day after we leave for Mexico City! Bummer! Likely for us, we found our own paradise. Its called playa Carrizalillos; great for swimming, learning to surf and snorkeling. I got picked up from here to go out and find sea turtles! It was great, found a Mrs. Turtle and got to swim with it! It was sooooo cute! And really friendly! We spent two days in a row at this beach, its just has fantastic views and wonderfully clear and calm waters! Just great!

If you love your food, this is the place to be! If you love your fish/sea food there's no place like Puerto! If you are like me and really dislike fish, its okŠ there is great vegetarian everywhere! And the fruit juices and smoothies are unforgettable!

It was sad to leave, we really liked it here... but all good things must come to an end!

Now we leave for the big city once again!
