It was a long day today. We didn't do a lot of driving but we did finally wind up in Brownsville, TX. We will be here until at least Monday around noon. South Texas is absolutely beautiful and absolutely desolate in places. Except for the highway I traveled, there were areas that looked as they must have 150 years ago. I really enjoyed these hours of driving.
We left the bus and the truck at the place where we will document all of the items. It is near the Free Trade Bridge outside of Brownsville. Tonight we are at the Days Inn in Brownsville and we ate a boat load of food at the Golden Corral. For now though...off to sleep.
