Jones Tours triumphed with our journey out of Antigua, via Guatemala City to Rio Dulce. We arrived, no gunshot wounds and our packs were still as heavy as when we left. Greeted by rain and 10,000 Garifunas trying to get us to go to Livingston. We declined their kind offers and decided to try and stay in Rio to do some sights around there. By this time it was raining so hard it could make your head bleed, shame my hat was at the bottom of my rucksack.

The only thing of real note is the hot waterfall of Finca el Paraiso. This was a waterfall in Finca el Paraiso which is hot. Not much more you can say on that.

It was about this time that T has her worse experience of the trip. She had to sit on a still warm toilet seat. She felt dirty and unfaithful. I kind of wished that was my only problem back in San Cristobal (15 times in one day - you get the odd warm one).

When we got back we bumped in to Bob (pronounced Baarb, he was a Yank). He offered us a lift to Livingston on his catermeran. We accepted, his arm slightly mangled. We sang Duran Duran all the way, stopped for swimming and generally showed off for the 2.5 hour trip. We agreed that this was the coolest thing we had done so far. It was nice just seeing the faces of the people on the chicken boats as we gently bobbed along the river. Pure class, us.

Greeted in Livingston by several people trying to sell us ganga. We were all stocked up we told him pointing to 4 very full rucksacks, he got the idea.

We are only in Livingston to get the boat to Belise, but the place has charm (Our Hotel is not much more than a derelict house). Luckily the boat only leaves on Tuesdays and Fridays, so we kind of have to stay. And the fish is delicious.

T needs some more gossip. She knows about Camilla (not a celeb in my book), Posh and Becks and Brad and Jen. Is there anything else we NEED to know?
S is back to solid after 2 weeks and a course of antibiotics.

All is good in the world of the Mullets. Oh S had his hair cut in Antigua, the bloke unsurprisingly knew the mullet happy with that.

Big Love
