Spent the morning following the River Road on my way to what I thought was to be my destination: Hannibal MO to visit the Mark Twain Museum. I came across this really cool Iron drawbridge that spanned the Mississippi and had to go over it. To get to the bridge was a gradual curve and then the bridge itself had a couple of twists in it and then a curve back down. The bridge gave off an impression of being very old and very solemn . This got me back into Missouri and to go back I would have to pay a toll (not likely). So I stopped at a MacDonalds to check my e-mail to see if the guy from BMW had sent me anything and he had. He really wanted to see my bike so that he knew he was going to order the right part for me. So a mad dash to St Louis was in order and I made it by 3:30pm which was 1/2 an hour before his deadline. Oh well, I'll go back to Hannibal tomorrow.
