What a boring ride home If it wasn't for the fierce crosswinds I would have fallen asleep. The crosswinds were a battle all day ofter moving me and the bike across the lane. The road itself is long and straight with the occasional sweeping curve. Saw lots of flashing red and blue lights today but none in my rear view mirror. The talk I had with my bike paid off today :)
It's strange riding now, there are no mountains surrounding me. The beige colour of has been replaced by the same colour in the wheat and corn. The greens of the cactus and scrubs has been replaced by trees and bushes while actual water flows under bridges instead of dry washes and rivers. Soon it will be the flat farmland that I am used to and the river valley of St Marys that I love.
Will be home probably on Wednesday as I want to take it easy and get home in one piece.
