Where I stayed
No Photo's today as this is my first leg of the return trip. My bum decided it would be a shortish one and I agreed.
It is fantastic to ride along the highway and see red rock cliffs to my left and the desert to the right. Coming into Albuquerque you come down from the West into the valley and you can see Albuquerque sreached under the mountain as far as the eye can see.
I am an hour from Santa Fe where I will go tomorrow and do a little sightseeing.
Hope you all had a good weekend. By the way it is 32c here and it is 5:21pm (7:21 yourtime) so you can imagine what it was like riding in the desert. I am glad I bought a three layer motorcycle jacket with the first (outer) layer being mesh which allows air to flow through and keep me cool.

We loved New Mexico. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. We envy your freedom to travel to the same kinds of places that we seek out. Cannot wait til we retire. (Sigh)
