HOME! I finally get a break. I can't explain how working Warped makes us feel like we've been working for two months. It's the long hours and day after day of shows I guess. So where'd I leave off?

We skipped the show in Boise on the 14th and headed straight to Seattle from Sacramento (a hell of a drive). Charlie, Arron, and I crashed at Arron's place until 10AM when we got up. Arron showed me around Seattle a little bit and then we ran to a few stores on our day off. We went down to the Public Market and I found the awesome and amazing Left Bank Collective. Arron's place used to be a store and was very interesting to say the least. He prefaced our entry with "Don't be afraid Brian, don't be afraid."

The next day we headed to George, Washington and did the show at the Gorge which I was looking forward to. It's a beautiful venue and I hope I get to do more shows there eventually. The last two nights have probably been the worst hotel experiences so far. The night before the Gorge we encountered "Slippers," a middle aged woman who was rude and annoying. I bit my tongue.

Last night we stayed outside of Portland and checked in around 1 AM. Jessica came on for two shows (she's done stuff with Lokahi before) and the three of us went to check in. A woman came out of a room to check us in and about a minute later a voice yelled from there, "Keep it down, some people are trying to sleep." Arron responded, "Well we're trying to check in," to which the voice said "There won't be any checking in if you don't be quiet." I was torn between laughing and being really pissed. Not only that, but the place was kind of trashy and the hand written sign on the door said "No Vacany."

I'm in Portland's Airport right now and about to board. I'll get to Chicago at 4AM. Great. :)
