Canada for an hour
Trip Start May 31, 2006
20Trip End ??? ??, 2006
We arrived and took the pedestrian bridge to Canada without Prachi since she didn't have a passport and was born in India. She probably would've been ok, but it'd be a hassle if customs stopped her on the way back in. We didn't do much of anything, but walk around all day with the exception of Prachi and Haley taking the Maid of the Mist boat toward the Canadian Falls. While they did that Brande called and told me that plans had changed. I was supposed to be on DMB for the next week at least, which meant Darien Springs and Saratoga Springs, New York, both with Matisyahu and then a long haul down to the Carolinas which I looked forward to
I'm not flying out with Prachi to Baltimore tomorrow. She'll be moving on to Nashville to do Bonnaroo (I'm jealous, Niki, Jim, and Brian will be there) while I start a crazy string of shows starting in Maryland Thurs, Ohio Fri. (same venue from last week's DMB show), and Milwaukee on Saturday. You can check the Warped Tour schedule to see where I'll be. I don't know how long I'll be on Warped, but it looks like it'll be crazy. Apparently we'll have to tables. One is for ONE and the other a Lokahi tent with voter registration, Greenpeace, and Oxfam stuff (fair trade). I assume we'll have catering at the shows since we'll be set up around 9AM with volunteers showing up around 11AM. Then the show goes until 7:30, which is nice because it's early, but that just means we have to get up earlier (than I'm used to from the DMB tour).
