Well, after few hours last week at work I've decided to leave the hotel. Of course they came to me two days later telling me I can have all of the hours I want, blah blah blah. I've already made up my mind and they should've done something about it earlier (because I had already talked to them about it). I may head off to Central Otago for a month or so and work in the orchards or vineyards. We'll see. I don't want to head up to Nelson yet just because there is so much I want to do in Southland and the surrounding areas.

Other than that, there hasn't been much happening lately. I drove an ATV through the country and a river about a week ago. That was pretty fun. Other than that I've just been taking walks and reading. I did see something funny about two week back. I was heading into town at about 1pm and this takes me past The Moose. Across the street from The Moose is Lake Te Anau. There were about four guys with handles shouting and laughing. They told me to come over so I figured why not? Turns out that their friend (with $30 motivation) was swimming naked in the lake. After about a minute I decided to keep walking. As I was walking away, a Japanese family got out of a car with three young children. I knew this could only get funnier. As this naked guy is getting out of the lake, these three young children start running towards it! I was cracking up and the naked guy started running back into the lake while yelling "NO!!! GET THE KIDS AWAY!" Meanwhile cars were slowing down and looking because of the sizeable (for Te Anau) crowd collected on the side of the lake. Quite a funny event.

Well, I'm out for now. I may post a pic or two from the ATVs. Great views of Te Anau from where we were. Adios.
