Up early and off the boat by 5a. First stop is customs where some over zealous agent decides to make me unpack my bike to verify my bear spray...what a PITA. Heavy fog as we leave Prince Rupert but it only helps to accentuate the scenery. We expect the daly mileage to rise dramatically as "horse to the barn" syndrome kicks in. Bruce rides with us on his Harley and we make good time to Prince George. I decide to split off and take a more direct route to Denver so we bid or farewells and head out in different directions. Riding solo feels good and the road towards Jasper is amazing, I stop in the small town of McBride and book a cheap hotel as I'm expecting another big day tomorrow.
