The Little Owl's very first time in India! Oh the colors, ah the smells! And the architecture! Loved it all!
After viewing famous landmarks such as the High Court, Prince of Wales Museum and Gateway of India, the Little Owl took the journey through the multiple religions of India (and visited Hindu Lord Shiva's Babulnath Temple, Lord Rama's Guruvayoor Ram Mandir Temple, and Vishnu Temple, built in the typical South Indian temple-style with tall tower-gateway and black granite images of the gods), Jain Temple, and Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) where she took part in the wedding in progress! Indeed, that was the most desired wedding week of the year, and with more than 40.000 ongoing weddings it was virtually impossible not to crash one... How very exciting!
After all the religious enlightment, the Little Owl visited the oldest part of Mumbai, with all the bustling and hustling of the 18 million city in which the density supersedes 29.000 people per square kilometer. How very exciting and colorful!
