She says:

We hadn't planned to go to Kaš - we decided at the last minute to stop over because it was halfway between Fethiye and our next destination, Olympos - but I am so glad that we did. Kaš seemed made for us - it had a reasonably priced place to stay with a pristine bathroom (for Michelle), a beach right in town with rocks to dive off of (for Mitch) and *free* sun loungers (for Michelle), plus a great restaurant and a bar that a) we were actually compelled to go into and b) we could afford. Add in interesting shops (I was admiring ceramics and I'm not even into ceramics - we thought of you, Ginger!) and unusually cheerful locals, and you have pretty much the perfect Turkish coastal town. We stayed two nights, and took a day trip to Kekova (the "sunken city" - basically some nondescript ruins that have been submerged under the sea) but in retrospect I think we would have been just as happy hanging out.

If you're headed to Kaš:
Go to Naturel restaurant, we implore you. One of the best meals of our entire trip. Just thinking about the ev mantisi (house Turkish ravioli) makes my mouth water. (I am starting to sound like Lonely Planet - help!)
