Today I lived my life like a true Spaniard.   In between classes I went to a little cafe near school with 3 locals and had an amazing cafe con leche ( I cannot rave enough about the cafe here!!!), then after classes I took a 4 hour siesta (which I can already tell I am going to miss dearly when I go back to the US!), followed by a late night rendevous to a nearby tapas (Spanish appetizer-like foods) bar and enjoyed my first ever authentic Spanish sangria y gambas (shrimp) tapas. 

The sangria was amazing, but you have to be VERY careful when drinking it because it is so tasty but has a very high alcohol content!  The gambas tapas had a very strong taste but were good, just don't plan on kissing anyone afterwards - MUCHO garlic!!  They were poquito gambas in a garlic and butter sauce on slices of pan (bread). 

We had a great evening sitting outside enjoying the sangria, beautiful weather (70 degrees!!!), and great conversation....what more could you ask for??
