We went to an underground WW2 Bunker where civilians would hide out during the air raids from the American and British bomber pilots.








 
 Schoology Questions:
1. 
What types of books did the Nazis order to be burned in the middle of Berlin? Examples of some titles?
2. What countries came together to fight against the Nazis? How did the fight (land, air, sea, etc.)? Where were most of the battles fought (cities/areas)?
3. Tell me about the picture with the Soviet Flag on the Reichstag building. After what battle was it hoisted?

4. Who committed suicide after the Battle of Berlin? Where?
5. Who met at Potsdam Conference and what was discussed (see the pictures of the cute English cottage below)? 

AP: Describe firebombing. What cities during WW2 were firebombed and by whom? Number of civilian casualties? In your opinion, is it ethical?

There are five types of bunkers Munitions storage which are used to securely store explosive ordnance and internal explosions, Personal where the house has a built in bunker like a below-ground bathroom with large cabinets, Industrial which includes mining sites, food storage areas, dumps for materials, data storage and sometimes living quarters,Artillery which usually house weapons, ammunition, and guns, and finally the Trench bunker which is a small concrete structure partly dug into the ground .
