Day 1
Today Julia and I took to the streets on her mountain bikes. After a quick stop at a palace and a couple of hours lying in the sun we went to an exhibition in total darkens. The idea is to show us what it's like being blind. They have a small section of city set up with sounds to follow and objects to bump into. Was interesting, although a little claustrophobic at first.
Day 2
Today the Argus bike festival started in Vienna. Its all dirt jumps and backflips, so I spent the day here. There were a few weird bikes I got to have a ride of such as the mono bike from china, the seated impossible to ride thing that has no name, a uni cycle and a pennhy farthing among other home made contraptions. The penny farthing was easy to ride and it wasnt long before I managed to go over the handle bars trying to avoid a little kid. Fun, fun, fun.
Day 3
Last night was Julias 30th birthday party. I had fun hanging with her and zee Germans - Eggs and Stcheffy. Eggs is actually called Benedict. Anyways, it was a fun night and the chick on the bongos was really cool. Julia smashed a cake in my face (at my request) and everyone had a great time. My last day was spent lounging around in the park with Julia, Eggs, Stef and some other Austrians.
Check out Eggs pics here. Way better than my crap:
