I started my day with an hour of practice driving the motorbike and now feel I'm ready to try it on the busy streets of Hanoi. I think next week I will. I drove around Ciputra which I consider the Orange County of Hanoi.
 
After riding I then did my weekly pilgrimage to see the sites of Hanoi and the surrounding area. I started by seeing a few temples and pagodas and then we drove out to a village along a tributary that runs along the Red River. This area is habitated by people that live on boats and many of them ride the bikes and motorbikes thru Hanoi and sell pottery from Ba Trang pottery village. I bought a vase to put my Phat Loc plant stalks in.
 
On the way home we stopped for a bowl of Pho at a nice sized restaurant with a view of what I believe is West Lake.

It was a nice day of practice, sight seeing and of course, eating
