*Coming this week photos and story from the Silk Village and a temple in Phu Dong village that is steeped in history - so lots of historical info for those of you that have said that's the part you enjoy the most. If all goes well I may be able to send a story about a field trip I took this past week with the second and fifth graders to an organic farm.

?!?!? Mark, you're a great photographer, but those piggy banks were just cutesy enough to make me ill. Ugghhh. I'm fine with the temple weapons, moon pies, giant dragon sculptures, and guillotine that you've acquired for me; no need to bring me one of the piggy banks. Besides, what would I put in it?!
And I can't wait to hear about the class field trip to the organic farm where the little kids learn the truth--that Soylent Green is fifth graders.
