After the wonders of Krakow, Wroclaw was a bit of a disappointment. The main attraction of the place (and there was little else that I could find that would make it worth the 6 hour bus journey) is the old town square. Beautifully restored after near total destruction during the war, it unfortunately suffers slightly in comparison with Krakow's, being (as it is) the 2nd largest in Europe. I spent a day and a half walking around and felt like I had seen all that I wanted to see of the place. Preparing to leave the next morning, that didn't quite happen due to the timely arrival of two guys I had met in Krakow, and a repeat performance of the Krakow evening. The idea of a 6 hour train ride didn't appeal so much, so I divorced myself from the world slightly and indulged in a day of watching far too many bad movies (again, I was staying in a good hostel). Unfortunately, that is probably all that is going to stay in my mind from Wroclaw. Oh well.
