So nearly missed the only daily bus back here. The people working at the Belgrade bus stations were amazingly unhelpful, and kept moving me from desk to desk as no-one seemed to know where I needed to get a ticket from. In fact, no-one even seemed to know from which of the two bus stations I needed to catch the bus; I still had no clue at the time the bus was due to leave, let alone a ticket. Luckily, Mladen (working at the hostel) had pointed out the second, cheaper pick up point. A quick sprint later, during which I regretted every plyaskavitsa, every burek and every pancake wrap thing (technical term, that) I had had in the past few days, I arrived at the stop at the exact same moment as the bus, so just managed to jump on before it left.

My next couple of days back in Budapest were definately quieter than the past week or so, probably a good thing. I even managed to get out and see some more of the city. One day was spent getting to the Szoborpark and back. The Szoborpark is slightly out of the city, and is where they have dumped all of the old monumental communist statues. Fascinating place, very tongue in cheek (the gift shop was hilarious), perhaps a bit smaller than I had anticipated but definately worth the hassle of getting to.
