That'll teach me to do things on the cheap! That has to have been the most tiring journey I have ever made. Setting off from Portsmouth at 8 yesterday morning, it took me almost 24 hours of tedium to reach Sofia.
Almost 3 hours to get to london, then a 4 hour wait for my shuttle to Luton airport, another hour to get to Luton, 2.5 hour wait for the flight, 4 hours (I think - lost track somewhere around here) to Budapest, a mind numbing 5 hour wait before my connecting flight to Sofia, which got me in at about 5 in the morning. 2 more hours of buses and walking until I finally found my hostel and could get some sleep!
Still, what with my flight only costing 1p (on the highly reputable Wizz airlines), what did I expect?
Had a little explore of Sofia this afternoon, but haven't really had a chance to see much yet. I'll explore more tomorrow, when I'm not quite so tired.

Also, it's not that cold here!! Yet.

Journey that is...
Yeah! That will teach you! ha! Talking of which i taught back to back for a few hours today... interesting.. Hope the crazy sleep deprivation does not result in unmanly bag buying and crazed food ordering.
Enjoy and keep us up todate drink some local ales for me.

Missed you!
I did call on Monday evening but don't think I timed it right, so sorry about that. But thanks for the email with details of this - v nifty.

I trust our 5 star stay in Vienna will not have such an inauspicious start. For the record its FREEZING here - v heavy frost due again this evening. But no doubt you have plenty of that to come.

Looking forward to keeping track of you (have you got your thermals yet?). LOL AC x
