This will be short and sweet.

We arrived in Picton via the lovely Ferry around 9:30 in the evening. Jeffrey had a peculiar smile on his face when we came down from above. (Oddly enough, the car infront's trunk was open. Hee Hee, just joking).

Picton is a pretty little port with not a whole lot to do in it. We were quite happy to spend the night though as we were both extremely tired from our mountain climbing, caving and volcanic adventures.

We thought we would hike the Tirohanga Walkway since we were in Picton anyway. It was supposed to give us great views of Picton and some of the countryside. We made it about halfway and decided we haven't quite recovered from our seven hour tramp on the Tongariro Crossing, as well as the Rainbow Mountain climb as well as the Mt. Manganui climb, not to mention the caving two days ago. We did manage to get a couple of pictures before we turned around and headed back down though.

In the end, we basically stayed here the night to re-group and then moved on the next day. We've got things to do and places to see!

Hugs and Love,
Dana and Trevor
