I've just returned from the longest and what could be final trip of my time in Europe. We made quite a journey from Ireland to Rome, Florence, Milan then up to Geneva to stay with Uncle Petey, before heading back to Ireland for 2 weeks
of studying and finals. Aside from a minor mugging dilemma involving our good friend steve who lost his wallet to a 5 foot, 80 something year old gypsy, the trip went very well and we made it back in one piece. I'll make this entry brief, and just say that I really enjoyed Rome, especially ancient Rome. I absolutely loved Florence. i was repulsed by Milan, and of course I love Switzerland. In Italy we managed to try over 12 different flavors of gelato, enjoyed several bottles of red wine and fully embraced the italian cuisine. I'd love to go back again with more time and money to fully appreciate the nuances of italian culture/lifestyle. We were all very impressed with the fashion, as was expected, but I managed to avoid making any extraneous purchases of italian leather or designer products. Enough with the chatter. Check out the photos.

Very nice--more gorgeous photos, Matt. Well done! There definitely has to be a trip to Europe in my near future.
