We went to see the Archeron river on Glyki village. In Greek mythology this river is passage to the underworld where dead people go. I was little disappointed how normal the riveractually was.
Next stop was in Koronisia lagoon and I'm a bit surprised that the place is not more popular. The place is absolutely beautiful, but the beach suffers from lack of maintenance. The road to the lagoon is amazing and we could see wild pelicans and other large birds. We probably would have swimmed, if weather would have been warmer.
Our hotel was in Nafpaktos, which is relatively large city on the north side on Corinth bay. Again the weather was too cold for swimming, so we did some window shopping. I think this town is good place for shopping and I don’t mean tourist souvenirs, but real products. The old harbor and castle on top of the town looked nice (although we didn’t had time to climb to the castle.)
