This evening after my field trip to Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, our family drove north into the White Mountain National Forest through the Kancamagus Pass.  This was said to be the main place for viewing moose, but we weren't fortunate enough to see any wildlife.  However, this was a beautiful drive.  Actually, every place we've been in Vermont and New Hampshire has been beautiful. What a wonderful part of the country!
