Was FANTASTIC! great place to re-visit. Me and sis did the 8km, Rhian the 13km.
Loved it- actually ran (and decent pace jog'd maybe) approx. 7 kms too! YAY!
Close to the end my legs were ready to tell me where to go so I walked a bit- the compulsory walk - disqualified if ran them- bridges & tunnels gave me the rests to keep me going.
It was mostly fairly flat, i'm a bit worried about the 6th of November, 10km's of the 'Speights West Coaster' as it looks hard.
I'll have to start taking camera to get some pics up, the before and afters. Bummer we didn't get to stay for prize giving but it was a few hours after we fnished (3pm) and had to get home to Auckland before 4pm
