Itīs been an uneasy night tonight. After sunset the wind died and the sails were flapping (which puts them in danger of ripping) I had to direct her straight into the waves which meant heading north east.
We dont want to head very far north as it brings with it a higher chance of bad weather. The days are slowly getting cooler, this afternoon i went up into the cockpit and took off my t-shirt as usual but within 5 minutes it was back on. Tomorrow we will hit the 1500 mark which is a great excuse to have 2 glasses of red wine. The star i was talking about last week cant be venus as itīs moving at the same speed as the other stars and in the same general direction. Its so bright that when its close to the horizon (around 1am lately)it leaves a simmering of light over the water similar to what the moon does when its out.
