It's Friday already and we still have loads to do before we leave, This morning we went to Miami to pick up the life raft which i hope wont be needed but you never know! We also did some sanding and varnishing. Im on the shopping mission this afternoon though, i need to get loads of batteries for my music. I bought 6 re-chargable's and a charger before i left Australia but what i forgot was that the boat and the US uses 110 volts not 240! so they are useless until i get to Europe.

As many books as i can - i found a really cool book shop here so ill see if he can do me a deal

Ive got about 2 hours to find all this stuff so it's going to be tight.

We have also changed our path to Europe as well, instead of going to Bermuda we will head to the Bahamas instead there are three main reasons for this;

1. there are allot of easterly winds at the moment coming from the direction we need to go in
2. the bahamas will be slightly cheaper than bermuda
3. there are loads of small islands in the bahamas where we can anchor without paying anchorage fees!

There is an "Air&Sea" show this weekend in Ft Lauderdale which will consist of the American forces in their best uniform parading in front of a bunch of fat, flag waving Americans while showing off how big their guns / planes and ships are while they are getting their arses kicked in Iraq.

I cannot believe how overweight the American's really are! It's insane. If any American's are reading this and are offended then im sorry, please feel free to abuse me at paul_moses18@yahoo.com where i will promptly ignore your message.

So this is it, the last weekend, i probably won't get a chance to write in here again for a while, i will update maybe in the Bahamas or more likely the Azores in around 5 weeks.
