Hi all, Shea Moriarty reporting live from Paris.

im sitting in the apartment on a Saturday evening listening to Dad slurping on a chicken bone and Riley singing about charging his ipod but doing nothing about it. i recently purchased a set of skateboard trucks( which are the sort of axle things) from a small skate store in Paris. The thing about Paris is there are alot of amazing places to skate but no one is skating them. this is completely astounding to me because in Australia every single inch of skateable concrete is covered in dozens of people cruising round on planks of wood. In Oz there is also a great number of Skateboard retailers throughout Perth and is really easy to go and get something for your skateboarding needs. Not so in Paris. i literally had to pull on my hiking boots and backpacking provisions, tent, sleeping bag, couple of days surply of food and so on just to make it to the nearest skate store. today i stumbled upon a couple of guys jumping stairs on their skateboards and sat down for a good half hour to watch. Now that im here and seeing so many great spots im starting to miss skating alot more, i obviously dont have a complete skateboard with me and that is just torture. Its like with any sort of thing you get really involved with, you start thinking about it all the time and you start adapting perfectly normal situations into something that involves your hobby or whatever. Now everytime i walk down a smooth street im visualising myself skating down it as i walk. i keep saying      that would be a good place to skate         to dad. He says im a stuck record.

Hi to everyone at home

We are pleased to report that the doggie shampoo & deodorant is working well for both of us. We have made a lot of new friends around Karrinyup!

Hi Shea,

Your writing, like Riley's is so interesting to read. It is wonderful to see Paris through your eyes with you being so much younger.
I'm beginning to think advertising should be done by young people like you and Riley.
Keep enjoying.

Hi Kim, I'm so glad Le Shadow smells good. He sounds like he is having a fat time with you. K

Hi guys
Haven't heard from you lately (since Paris). I have been down in Bunbury visiting Alisa and kids as poor little Sam has been in hospital with pneumonia for 3 days. He is home now and improving slowly. Alan went to Broome and Karratha for a week for work (mostly leisure I think) and came back with some extra weight around the gut - must have been the cuisine.
Hope your trip is continuing to be great and looking forward to some more blogs. Not sure what has happened as the last one I got was from Shea in Paris.

Luv

Belva xx
