Not much to report, but this is my last night, so figured I would add one final post. See and or talk to most of you soon. It has been a great trip, and I am totally exhausted.
Seoul was warmer today, so was much more comfy seeing the sites. Hit another palace, this one a 100 year old reconstruction, but grand and very pretty. I like the wooden beams and bright paint jobs here. Again, sorry no pictures. I spent a few hours wandering an area of traditional wood homes. Flew through a folk museum (about museumed out I think). Went to a flea market and just wandered looking at the junk/antiques (sorry dad, no arrow heads).
I did find street donuts today. So that is 4/4 on finding street donuts in countries for this trip. Had a couple small hollow, kind of chewy, round ones. Also, a bigger one that was a pocket of fried dough filled with some melted sugar and pine nut mix, had the same thing filled with a kimchi and seafood mix from that same place.
Dinner I had the Korean classic, bibimbap. Pretty simple, rice served in a bowl with a mix of veggies and meat on top that you mix all together. This one was served in a stone pot though, so the rice on the bottom got all crisp and crusty. Very tasty.
All that, and more wandering. My feet hurt. Not sure what I have left in me for tomorrow, I have to head to the airport about 3PM. Will figure it out over coffee tomorrow.
Good night.

Wow! Sounds like you had a great trip! I didn't get to follow due to the holidays, so I have some reading to do to catch up. Don't bring back any bird flu!
By the way, I'm interested to hear more about your impressions of the country as the artillery confrontation was unfolding.
