The plane rides here were oh so long and the whole process was very draining. But we made it, all 24 of us and Dr. Lee and his family. I am rooming with Ashley in an nicer room than I thought. There's the room, kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Pretty spacious for the little we brought with the "pack light" philosophy. Anyway, the Artemis has begun to feel homey, and the food it definitely amazing. We will take our first trip after next week I believe, but for now classes have begun. All the classes are going to be really interesting, things I will keep forever and use. And then the more amazing part is that many of the things and places we study we get to see too.
All of us here have been hanging out trying to get to know each other and the town. We've been out for our first meal, shopping at the supermarket, and to the beach (which was so beautiful). So that's been the past few days, along with sleeping, trying to get rid of jetlag. The rest of my entries here now, if all goes as planned, will be on our trips so you can know all about then and see pictures and maybe learn something too.
