Last night we never had any baby cots and jojo had the most uncomfortable sofa bed ever, so at various times last night I had every one on this holiday in my bed!! A dreadful nights sleep all round, and I needed 4 cups of coffee before I even started to function this morning!

Today we had a quick 2 hour drive to our final destination of Ventura. The beach here is lovely and we played at the seaside all day long. Elodie loves crawling along the water front (normally stopping to eat seaweed) and Rowan is all about digging nunnles (tunnels) and making pies, or more like bossing us to make tunnels and pies for him!

Tonight we ate in the most brilliant place, in a diner straight out the 1950's! It was so brilliiant, Jo and I absolutely loved it. It was exactly like something out of happy days, and sitting in our wee red booth we half expected the fonz to deliver our dinner of potato skins and pancakes! Since the food was so good it even got Arnauds approval too. To top it all off there was a jukebox at every table and we listened to a wee bit of Sam Cooke before coming home. Oh and the bill was delivered with a piece of bubble gum! Brilliant place. Tonight we have 2 baby cots so hopefully we'll get a better night. Night night xx
