Just a wee entry today from Pismo beach since there's not much to say about topping up our tans (well Arnaud and Rowan are doing their tans, the rest of us are plastered with factor 30!). We drove for 3 hours to get here and it was well worth the drive, beautiful blue skys and gorgeous big beach.   I have to say that although the beaches I’ve seen here are beautiful they don’t compare to those in australia and new caledonia…. The one thing you can be sure of is that no matter where the beach is in the world, Elodie and Rowan will end up covered in head-to-toe sand, Elodie will eat the sand, Rowan will throw some and we’ll all end up with it stuck to suncream on every inch of our bodies.  It’s so awful in so many ways yet the babies are so happy we keep going back for more….

Other than the ocean, the beach and the sun the main attraction for us was another frozen yogurt shop.  I think we are addicted, especially since this one had the excitement of serving your own frozen yogurt and self serving scoops of toppings.  Number one on my list is to find a local fro-yo when I get home!!

So enjoy the photos of the sandy babies, sandy auntys and sandy us xxx
