So Aviva and I took a great trip to Hershey with Evan and Emma.
ZooAmerica. Not quite as grand as we expected but we had fun.
The best was Chocolate World.
We saw the 10,000+++ lb Hershey's Kiss
they built to beat the world record. Very cool.
Aviva got to "make" chocolate PHOTO_ID_L=third_week_of_camp_014.jpg
and eat lots of candy. Fun for all.
Also, I completed the all women's philly triathlon. It was a great time and I felt honored to share it with Jodi!! The only downer was I got lost in West Philly which apparently is not the safest area in the world. With lots of guidance from Evan via cell phone and the internet I survived...barely!
Camp has settled a bit. The health center is still busy but we got throught the crazy first 2 weeks. I guess there is always a learning curve when you do something new. The weather the past 2 days has been beautiful. The younger boys and girls had a dance.
I got a sneak peek. Aviva even dressed up to go. PHOTO_ID_R=third_week_of_camp_039.jpg]
Big news: Ari won the "let's make a deal". A dress up contest. He was wearing swim goggles, shin guards on his arms and some crazy clothes. When they asked him what he was dressed up as he answered, "I don't have any idea." He kept winning each round and eventually won the whole deal camp wide. His statement to me was, "I LOVE CAMP!! Especially when I win candy." Plus he got a few free Pinemere t-shirts, etc. He was glowing. Alex got bull's eye's this week during archery and lost one of his baby teeth.
The tooth fairy managed to find him way out here in Stroudsburg. Jacob played in the 3 on 3 soccer tournament and had a blast.
Aviva and I met grammy PHOTO_ID_L=third_week_of_camp_043.jpg
at the Palisades mall yesterday so Aviva was very happy to see her. They are looking forward to visiting day next week. Well off to bed!
