Market day takes over the whole town we heard and saw buses drop off tourists for a couple hours I guess. Someone likened driving in Sarlat to Branson, MO. Sure looked like it! Bought some cheese and sausage and baguette and peaches for our lunch today at the cave art excursion. Good thing we did because there was no food option at the sight.
Since we don't have our own car we had to ride the regional bus to Lasceux where the cave art is. I guess everyone else had a car because we had the entire bus to ourselves, ha!
The tour was in French so we put together our own translation to entertain us and the bookstore afterward had children's books in English so I guess we aren't very good with French but I'm sure our version was better.
