Day 4 – late afternoon/evening

The Green Point Park being located right across the street from the Green Point Lighthouse…. well……one thing that I can say about it is once I passed the park's entrance gates…..the views were fabulous!

Lovely vistas of the Cape Town Stadium, Signal Hill and numerous biodiversity gardens made it a photographic paradise as Michel and I strolled down the numerous wide paved pathways.    Luckily for me, the park was mostly deserted at this time of day except for a few gardeners that we saw walking past us.     This meant no strangers in my pictures!   Hehehe!

A variety of structures and benches made it ideal for us to sit on and take short breaks while admiring the surroundings.     Since we had brought with us some snacks to eat and water to drink, this gives you an idea as to what we did next…..we ate and drank!    The peacefulness of the area plus the great views made our one hour stroll an unforgettable pleasant one.

Our walk back to our hotel at the Waterfront was as nice as coming here.  The weather was still warm, the sky was still blue and cloudless and most importantly, Table Mountain still had its white tablecloth on (clouds over the top)!   In other words, everything was picture perfect from my point of view!

Just as last night, our evening was spent walking around the Waterfront but this time I had the luxury of exploring more in depth the famous Victoria Wharf Shopping Mall!  Hehehe!   And no, nothing was purchased except that we ate there!

Oh….by the way, at the Victoria Wharf Shopping Mall, I did try on a beautiful huge diamond ring.  The jewelry store clerk allowed me to try it on and take a picture of it while I had it on my finger even though she knew I wasn’t going to buy it!   It had a price tag of $60,000.00 US$.    Now that you know the price, aren’t you glad that I didn’t buy it and spent all of your inheritance money!   Hehehe!    Sorry about the photo being out of focus…I must have been shaking with excitement!

Tomorrow’s our Cape Wine – Cape Town full day tour!  Looking forward to it!   I’m sure that I’ll be thinking about all of you guys back home while toasting to your health!
