When we arrived at the Ottawa International Airport at 10:30pm at night, Eric was patiently waiting for us! After greetings and kisses were exchanged, our suitcases were picked up and we made our way out the terminal doors and into the awaiting car. The weather was just a little bit cooler than in Rome but I wasn't complaining.
Not surprisingly, due to the mild weather that Ottawa had during our absence, no snow was on the ground, the grass was showing and definitely, spring was in the air! It’s amazing what an absence of more than two weeks can do to you!
It was nice to be back home under familiar grounds! I had just travelled back in time and was now feeling the effects of jetlag! However, that didn’t stop me from thinking about my little escapade to Italy and saying that I had more than an amazing trip out there, I had an incredible one, one that I wouldn’t have done any differently!
Italy has been for me a wonderful country to visit where so much was seen, done and visited….and purchased too! Hehehe!
If you were to ask me which city, town or village that I liked most in Italy, my reply would be..... all of them! You see, while visiting all of them, I kept saying "I wished that I could live here"! Well, this ought to tell you something!
