We met with Patrick, Sabrina and Justin around 9:30am at our hotel and then like a bunch of tourists, well me anyway with my big DSLR camera hanging around my neck, the five of us proceeded to march down the scenic paths along the ocean's cliff. It was pretty much hazy this early in the morning and quite warm.
Various stops were made here and there while I took photos of the group and admired the vistas. We walked all the way past the Parque del Amor to the huge lighthouse and then down the bridge to the ocean’s shore. It was a very nice long walk but well worth it. It also felt as if we were going down memory lane as we each and every one of us remembered previous trips right here at these exact spots within the last several years.
A short stop was then made at our hotel for me to change my clothes and for the others, for bottles of water to drink! They were pretty much dehydrated from all this walking around, not being used to it probably! Ha, ha, ha!
A taxi was then taken in which the five of us all squeezed in (at least Justin sat in the front) and we all went to Fiorella’s parents house where we were warmly greeted and served with refreshments! Muchas Gracias! Patrick greatly enjoyed playing with Draco, Fiorella’s huge Labrador dog! He might have looked scary and mean as he barked endlessly at us but actually……he was as gentle as a lamb!
Our hosts, Fiorella’s parents, treated us to a very nice restaurant located really close by. It was a Chinese/Peruvian Restaurant which proved to be extremely good! As I’m writing this, I’m wishing I was back there eating again some of those delicious foods…… Sniff!
After making exciting plans for the evening, goodbyes were said and we all departed our own separate ways, us going back to our hotel and the others, back to Mili’s condo! Monique :-)
