Day 13 (afternoon)

Temperature: 15 degrees
Weather:   nice sunny day
=======================

Right after leaving the ancient city of Ephesus, a stop was made for an hour and a half at a leather factory outlet where we had the pleasure of being entertained by models walking down the runway showing off leather jackets and coats!   Music played on loudspeakers and wine was served to all of us to drink as we sat comfortably on white leather chairs and watched the show!  It was only the beginning…..

It was the beginning of high pressure selling tactics which followed right after the show!   Salespersons followed everyone around; mine trying to convince me without stop to try the coats on! Bla, Bla, Bla!  That the coats looked really nice on me! Bla. Bla, Bla!  Sure they might have but the price….they were all overpriced!  You'll be happy to hear that no purchases were made, making in the process Michel a very happy person!  Hahaha!

We later had lunch at a local restaurant by the name of Aziziye!  The meal by itself was very good and once I finished, I wandered around the gift shops just outside the restaurant with my bodyguard right behind me!  Or should I say by now, the money keeper!

In early afternoon, the artifacts of Ephesus were viewed in a small but interesting "Ephesus Archeological Museum" in Selcuk where the statue of the Great Mother Artemis was displayed amongst so many other valuable and precious pieces.

By 3:30pm, we were back at our hotel, the Charisma Deluxe Hotel in Kusadasi and had the rest of the day at leisure!  Hurrah!  Without wasting any minutes, I was out the door with my camera in hand exploring the town with Michel right next to me!
