After our brief stop at the tourists view point on the plateau of the Giza Pyramids, we boarded our bus and were driven to the temples of the Great Sphinx of Giza being really close by.

As Michel and I made our way towards the entrance, we were hastily stopped by a local Egyptian man who made it appear as if he was a security guard verifying entrances tickets. He was dressed as a westerner and his two children were with him.

Not really taking the time to look at our tickets, he quickly told us to stand in front of the Sphinx and that he would take pictures of us with our camera.   Knowing quite well his intentions, and since he really looked genuine, we went along with him in which he made us stand here and there in various poses while he proceeded taking several pictures of us.  It was fun and in the end, I ended up with some wonderful pictures of both Michel and I together.  Quite to his joy, a small token of appreciation was given to him afterwards.

Proceeding inside the Temple in front of the Great Sphinx of Giza, we knew our way around having been here a few weeks ago with Karen.  We directly went to the top platform where it was already packed with tourists and locals trying to sell souvenirs.

Standing on a plateau with the Sphinx in the background, Michel proceeded taking various pictures of me kissing the Sphinx.  It was great fun in which many other tourists did the same.

After having all the fun we wanted and looking at the Great Sphinx of Giza for one last time, we headed back to the bus which shortly after left the premises.

Thankful for having kissed the Great Sphinx of Giza for one last time!
