Where I stayed
Located in the heart of Cairo, the Egyptian Museum is the largest of Egyptian antiquities museums from all over the world and I was fortunate to be here in person to see it by myself. Cameras weren't allowed inside the building however pictures could be taken outside. I was quite disappointed but nothing could be done.
As for us, since we only had a few hours, selected sections of the museum were visited in which Akram provided us with many, many details. We were then given a certain amount time to explore the floors by ourselves in which Michel and I directly went to one the most stunning collection, the King Tut-Ankh-Amon, better known as King Tut, collection.
After completing our wandering around of several other pieces in the King Tut's collection, Michel and I looked at other collections and once satisfied of having seen what we wanted to see, we made our way outside the building in order to explore the exterior's grounds.
Thankful for having visited the Egyptian Museum.
