In the early afternoon we headed out, via the free shuttle from Sam's Town, to the casino strip.  We last visited Vegas in 1990 for Don's 25th college reunion and were anxious to see how much it has changed.  Vegas is not one of our favorite cities but it was fun to check out.
We arrived at Harrahs, the terminus for the shuttle and decided to walk at least as far as the Venetian to check it out before heading back in the other direction to check out the Luxor.  We walked both sides of the street before we were finished! The architecture and facades of the buildings fascinate us and, after checking out some of the interior decorations, decided that in many cases that is all there is.  However, our revisit to Cesar's didn't disappoint - this is one building that successfully carries the theme inside.  We were only in the right place at the right time for one or two of the free shows - we missed the volcano at the Mirage again!
For the most part, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.  We must have walked at least 10 miles and crawled onto the return shuttle at 9:30.
