Today was a day for final preparations for time on the road. It's amazing how quickly things come out of storage! We also availed ourselves of laundry facilities at Scott's apartment, checked out another regional park in the area, and had dinner at a good Italian restaurant in the neighbourhood that is one of Scott's favourites. With warnings of high winds on Wednesday and again later in the week, we are frequently checking the forecasts as we need to travel on the days that are predicted to be calm weather.
