Last night, we slept lightly as the wind was rattling the canvas covers over the slides. The Phoenix airport had flight delays and clocked 50 mile an hour winds. Out here, there is nothing to break the wind. Fortunately the park escaped the downed trees and power outages that were experienced north of here. This morning's temperature was considerably cooler and was great for some serious house cleaning. We are starting to think about getting organized to get back on the road next week and after a month of digging things out of 'their place', we now need to remember where things go or find a new place for them. It was also time to prepare some salads for the weekend as we expect Scott will visit again.

Each day there are a few more empty spots in the park but with the forecast of continuing wind, some are staying longer than intended. Hopefully by the end of next week things will settle down
